Admission ticket

An Admission Ticket will be emailed to all registered candidates two weeks before the test.  This ticket will show the exact test centre location and the reporting time.

Candidates will be required to bring their Admission Ticket and appropriate identification on the day of the test, otherwise they will not be permitted to sit UMAT.

You will be assigned to a test centre in your chosen city/town.  Where multiple sessions are held in one city, you will be automatically allocated to a session.  Changes between sessions are NOT permitted.

You must report to the test centre at the time stated on your Admission Ticket.  Make sure you allow sufficient time to find the test centre, allowing for traffic congestion at the larger test centres (i.e. most capital cities).

The test itself will start as soon as pre-testing procedures (checking of Admission Tickets and identification) are completed.  If you report to the test centre after all candidates have been admitted to the test room you may not be allowed to enter.  No latecomers will be admitted once the test has started.

UMAT ID Number

You will be allocated a UMAT ID number by ACER when your registration is processed.  This number will appear on your Admission Ticket and should be quoted on any correspondence with the UMAT Office after this time.

You must keep a record of your UMAT ID number in a safe place as you will need it to access your results and to complete your university applications.
